Is a natural occurring siliceous mineral recommended as carrier for feed concentrates such as medicaments, and trace elements essential to nutrition. Due to its deodorizing and dehydration effect, It is recommended for the improvement in the disposal of animal waste.

The distinguished characteristic of TRI-GON is to absorb and trap the ammonia of poultry litter. It also control and clean up liquid spills.

Ammonia in poultry Farms
Chicken's lungs, airsacs and entire respiratory system must be healthy to stop bacteria from infecting them. The surfaces of the respiratory system are lined by microscopic "fingers" called villi which sway back and forth to push bacteria away from the lungs and airsacs. Ammonia, however, can cause these villi to mat together and prevent them from carrying bacteria away. Ammonia can also increase bacterial infection by damaging the cells lining the respiratory tract. Dust in the air will increase the damage done by ammonia. Birds exposed to ammonia are more susceptible to fowl cholera, infectious bronchitis, colisepticemia and other diseases.

Ammonia Level Effect on Poultry

10 ppm:

  • Over several weeks the respiratory tract of chicken’s will receive some damage and interfere with the birds' ability to clear bacteria from their lungs.

25 ppm:

  • Damage to the lungs and airsacs starts to appear in 48 hours.
  • Bacteria and viruses causing fowl cholera, infectious bronchitis and colisepticemia can more easily invade the lungs and airsacs.

50 ppm:

  • Significant lung and airsac damage in as little as
    1-2 weeks.
  • Eggs numbers will decline in a month or less.
  • In 10 weeks or less, the sexual maturity of pullets will be delayed and egg numbers will be reduced once egg production begins.

100 ppm:

  • Feed intake and body weight will decline significantly over the course of a month.
  • Decreased shell thickness and egg size.
  • Some mortality may occur.
BENEFITS DERIVED FROM THE USE OF TRI-GON
1. Eliminates foul and malodorous odor.
2. Effective anti-caking agent for animal feed.
3. Natural in origin, non-toxic and residue free.
4. Safe and Easy to mix.
5. Environment friendly.

TRI-GON FOR LITTER MANAGEMENT
AND TREATMENT FOR POULTRY

"Poultry litter is an integral element in providing the proper environment for efficient poultry production. Litter functions as a medium for fecal decomposition, moisture absorption, and as insulation between the ground and live birds. Thus, it is important to maintain quality litter integrity during a flock growth period.

Past research has shown that optimal litter conditions will enhance bird weight gain and decrease processing condemnation rates.

Characteristics to look for in an optimal litter include: low moisture and pH, low ammonia production, and a high reuse potential. An ideal litter, regardless of age, should be firm in the hand, and not wet and sticky.

TRI-GON AS ANIMAL FEED CARRIER
As a carrier for feed concentrates TRI-GON will readily absorb the concentrate while remaining free flowing (Anti-caking) and chemical resistant to microbiological degradation. It also permits liquid movement between the carrier surface and the recipient of the feed concentrate.

RECOMMENDED APPLICATION

Mixing in Feeds

  1. Mix 1.5 kg TRI-GON for every 100 kg of starter/finisher feeds (any brand).
  2. Mix them thoroughly by using clean spade / shovel in a clean shaded room chamber or area.
  3. Follow the feeding schedule as it is or feed them 3 times a day.

Direct Application

  1. Pour & Spread TRI-GON slowly in all affected areas.
  2. Make sure that the ground being poured by
TRI-GON is fully covered for total absorption.
  3. Avoid applying TRI-GON when there is a presence of strong wind to prevent it from being blown away.
